if you're anything like us here at the shop, this weather has put a bit of hesitation in your desire to go outside.

now that "stay inside and batten down the hatches" season has begun, things can get a little... stuffy.

don't be scared, we've got everything you need to keep from losing your marbles during the cold weather months ahead!

our collection of candles for the winter season this year is simply beautiful.

with scents for every nose and prices for every budget, you are sure to find one (at least) that fits your needs perfectly!

linnea's lights double wick soy candles are available in forest fir, pepperberry, golden plum, and winter scents. 60-hour burn time. $36 each.

paddywax tartan tin soy candles are like bite-sized candle nuggets that pack a surprisingly good punch to the sniffer. Average 18+ hour burn time. $14 each.

the reserve collection from linnea's lights boasts four blissful scents; leather & oud, cedrus, earl grey, and vintage (our favorite of course). 35-45 hour burn time. $42 each.

you can't get much cozier than a cushiony pair of merino lambswool blend socks from woolrich, available in four color combinations. and at $16 per pair, they won't break the bank either!

our lisa b socks are back for the season! available in a cashmere/wool blend, as well as cotton, these socks come in baby, toddler, and adult sizes, and in many more patterns and colors than can be seen here. $20-$30 per pair.

vintage and new, blank or full of information and stories, our collection of books continues to grow and grow. unplug from the internet and reconnect with your own mind. (after reading the rest of this blog of course...)

being stuck inside doesn't seem so bad when you've got cozy blankets and socks, good books and great smelling candles!

come on over and load up on some sanity-saving goodies before the big freeze moves in.

and while you're here, grab a cookie or two.
