SOME OF OUR FAVORITE THINGS TO DO OUTSIDE:
everything is in bloom, which makes places like philipsburg manor,
washington irving's sunnyside,
the rockefeller state park preserve,
tarrytown's river walk,
the old croton aqueduct trail,
& the old dutch church enchanted experiences of complete and utter beauty!
the breathtaking matisse and chagall stained glass windows at union church in pocantico hills are definitely worth a peek too...
one of the best spots around for an incredible meal is river city grille in irvington, just down the road. (with plenty of gluten-free options for us celiac folk.)
main street in tarrytown has more than a few remarkable restaurants as well, such as bistro 12,
mint,
and sweetgrass grill right in the heart of tarrytown... if you want an amazing brunch, this is the place to be.
if you've got a sweet tooth like ours, you won't want to miss the family-owned hometown treat shop main street sweets...
for a great cup of coffee or tea, try coffee labs and muddy water, both located on main street right in town!
so if you're searching for something to do with mom this year, look no further... plan a day trip to tarrytown with mom, or anyone else you might want to share some special memories with!
and stop by pretty funny vintage for some special mother's day treatment while you're at it...
see you at the shop!
