oh what fun we had digging this week! we were invited to a local collector's home: 70 years of WOW!

we were there for hours, got extremely dirty, and moved loads and loads into our cars.

can you think of a better day?

here's a sampling:

architect's stool, circa 1925. metal twist brace styling.

collection of vintage art supplies: wonderful old boxes containing pastels, oil paints, colored pencils.

rattan veranda chairs: intricate design and cane seats (found three of these beauties !)

french market pushcart, circa 1930: this woven wonder rides along on wooden wheels, complete with rattan handle. perfect for the farmers market!

pair of silver plated cologne bottles circa 1940.

darners kit: this complete kit circa 1940 is packed with celluloid tools, thimbles, and cuteness!

AND the amazing news is we are now open until 7pm every night!

things here have been pretty exciting lately. not only are we unearthing great vintage accessories for your
spring spruce-up, but we have a couple of major road trips and antique buying shows planned.
searching, laughing, finding.

but - we're not just about old stuff anymore.

we've been on a big campaign to let locals know that we have great 'new' finds in the shop as well.

Pretty Funny Vintage is located in a beautiful 1890’s Victorian at 80 South Broadway in the picturesque village of Tarrytown, NY... set on the banks of the Hudson River.

Our shop features hand-picked vintage finds in furniture, lighting, textiles, jewelry and clothing, as well as a whole slew of new-fangled curious goods. And we've been at it for more than 40 years.

For owner Stephanie Leggio, the best part of the job is the hunt – that's why she's constantly taking road trips up and down the East coast in search of comfortable, casual and slightly off-beat antiques.

Adding contemporary pieces that compliment the flowing inventory of antiques was a natural evolution. We now feature a line of new gifts and decorative wares from around the world.
